Addiction is an asshole.

It will have you feeling as though there’s something wrong with you when the truth is your body is doing what it was designed to do. The problem is that once you see it’s causing harm to your life, you’re supposed to break free from it, and this is where most get stuck.

The human body gets addicted to addictive things; your addiction means your body is working the way it’s supposed to, and the reason for your continuation of using that addictive substance is a different discussion.
