Social Media Addiction is a form of “internet addiction” that can have a detrimental effect on people's lives; we must be aware of the risks.

Social media addiction is the compulsive need to spend time on social media sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, and other online platforms.
People who suffer from this addiction often feel the urge to check their accounts and post updates constantly. This can lead to a significant amount of time spent on their phones and computers, with people potentially spending hours each day and entire days glued to their devices - literally doing nothing else but letting the world see them.
