I think it's great that you have chosen to prioritise being present for your children...🙂
I think it's sad if fathers can't (or worse choose not to) be present for their children..
Here in Australia, I see lots of parents (mums and dads) present with their children at sporting events, special occasions etc... so another father wouldn't stand out...
Thank you for sharing and good on you for demonstrating drive & energy for things that are important....
The point of the article (which if missed is on me the writer, not you) is that in a world of "Netflix and Chill" we need to make sure that we're being different than the comfortable masses. We need to be the parents who make time to be present, and not let our work or comfort get in the way of our relationship with our kids.

Hope your child's team won BTW ✌️
The father would stand out to *his children*; also, I love to hear there’s involved parents, it’s needed.
Not sure I understand the message in this....
All Dads are different people with different challenges and different family dynamics...
In a perfect world everyone would be living fulfilled, satisfied healthy lives....
Working towards creating & maintaining a healthy balance between Work>Family>Hobbies/Interests
Men also need to remember themselves and take care of their physical and mental health....
A happy healthy family needs happy healthy fathers & husbands.. .
