Dear Trump: You Talked About It, Now Be About It
From draining the swamp to auditing the Fed, Trump’s boldest promises remain unfulfilled, and America deserves answers.
Dear Trump,
You stood on stages, made promises, and rallied a patriotic base with bold rhetoric and righteous indignation.
You said you would punish predators in power, drain corruption from D.C., audit the Federal Reserve, clear the swamp of insider trading, and stop the money flows that betray “America First.”
As a businessman, you should know that words are cheap, that action is everything, and so today, the question must be asked, “Where is the follow-through?”
1. The Promised Purge of Pedophiles & Deep-State Abusers
One of your most repeated vows was to hold the predators in power accountable.
From whisper networks to mainstream accusations, many have claimed high-level elites (in government, in media, in political corporatations) partake in dark networks of deviant sexual abuse.
You pledged to expose and arrest them, with no exceptions.
Yet there is no record of mass indictments of top-tier officials for sexual predation, no congressional showdowns, no systemic investigation exposing a ring in the deep state.
The silence, lack of arrests, and still full swamp disappoint those who believed more than you could know.
If you intend to make men accountable, start where the system is most broken.
2. “Drain the Swamp” Yet the Swamp Grows
You promised to fire the corrupt, the untrustworthy, those enriched by insider influence because, as you said, politicians who trade on privileged information should face consequences.
Yet time and again, stories emerge of elected officials, staffers, and bureaucrats making millions from deals, stocks, or policy insider access.
When did America go from Politics being a service to being a career, with incredibly privileged benefits?
Not only that, but we have politicians defying federal orders, putting American lives at risk, and you will not have them arrested…
Why?
Obstruction of justice and putting American Civil Servants’ lives at risk is a crime, but because a mayor does it, it’s cool?
When the evidence emerges every week, we see silence, deflection, or window-dressing investigations by you, not the promised sweeping accountability.
The swamp didn’t shrink; it adapted and metastasized.
3. Audit the Fed: The Promise That Withers
In 2016-17, you repeatedly promised to audit the Federal Reserve, to bring transparency and accountability to an institution operating behind closed doors.
It became one of your signature economic pledges.
Yet under your watch, meaningful progress has not come.
The Federal Reserve remains untouched, especially in its monetary policymaking, open-market operations, and hidden relationships with banking institutions.
If you meant it, show it; bring full audits, livestream it, and put the Fed under a real spotlight…
Show the American people the books.
4. The Riot Pardon Promise & Support for Violence
You said you would defend “patriots,” pardon January 6 rioters, and roll back prosecutions of those you consider politically targeted.
You spoke of vengeance, of justice, of sweeping pardons.
What we’ve seen instead is selective action.
You claimed you’d clean house; instead, you deepened the politicization of justice.
5. “America First” But Dollars Still Flow Abroad
You promised that under your watch, America would stop financing globalist agendas while neglecting its own borders and its own people.
You pledged to end bailouts to other nations, redirect funds to American workers, and prioritize citizens over foreign elites.
Yet the U.S. still funnels capital, grants, and international aid to other governments, foreign NGOs, global development banks, and so forth, often with limited accountability or return benefit to ordinary Americans.
Every budget cycle, foreign aid, multilateral contributions, and off-balance-sheet commitments continue.
Our government is shut down, yet nobody will tell the American people exactly what the battle is over in the budget…
Many feel this is a betrayal of the “America First” slogan when tens of billions are handed overseas while infrastructure crumbles at home.
If you meant to realign priorities, the proof lies in how you budget, not how you campaign.
6. Broken Promises, Broken Trust
The Trump-O-Meter (PolitiFact’s tracking of your 2016 pledges) rates over 50% of your promises as broken.
That is not hyperbole; that is public record.
It’s not enough to talk tough, and it’s not enough to tear into opponents online...
We want you to produce outcomes, as we judge leaders by action, not words.
President Trump,
You told us what you’d do.
You painted bold lines, promised a revolution against cronyism, against corruption, against hidden power, and now is your chance to match your words.
Right now, too many promises are still invisible.
