Don't Hide Your Thoughts
It's okay to speak up.
This photo was taken at an after-party for a Convention I’d spoken at in Vegas last year. I was sitting there alone when someone sat next to me and started asking questions; instead of answering with what I’d thought the gentlemen would want to hear, I shared my truth, and the result was us having a great conversation about his goals and my take on the moves he was making.
I was reflecting on this today, and the thought (I’m assuming) was primarily driven by a conversation I’d had with my wife when she was answering questions for the first Daily Discussion Interview:
Jackie had asked about how she should answer the questions, and I had to give the advice I follow, be you. I hate that people try to be who they think others like instead of being who they are.
I want people to be honest with one another.
