Equality Is a Lie; Excellence Is the Only Truth.
The highest standard must be the standard; in the military, in life, in everything that matters.
We live in a culture that worships equality.
It has become the sacred cow of modern society, untouchable, unquestionable, and shoved down our throats as the ultimate good; but let’s call it what it is, A lie.
Equal opportunity does not, and never will, guarantee equal outcomes, which is great because the world doesn’t need more fairness; it needs higher standards.
Equal opportunity? Absolutely.
Everyone deserves a fair shot.
But equal outcomes?
That’s delusion.
That’s a society bending over backwards to ensure no one’s feelings get hurt, even if it means dragging everyone down to the lowest common denominator.
Excellence is the only truth and standard worth focusing on; pretending otherwise is a betrayal of reality.
Equality of Outcome Is a Disease
Equality of outcome is not compassion; it’s cowardice.
It punishes those who rise, so the weak don’t feel bad about falling. It’s like clipping the eagle’s wings so the turkey doesn’t feel left behind.
People are different in strength, drive, discipline, and grit; pretending they’re the same is a lie.
Forcing equal outcomes doesn’t raise the weak; it crushes the strong.
When everyone “wins,” no one actually does. By lowering standards, you’re not protecting people; you’re robbing them of the chance to fight, rise, and earn genuine respect.
Life is not meant to be safe or fair; life is meant to be fought for.
The Defense Secretary’s Standard: The Bar Is the Bar
That’s why the recent words from the Defense Secretary, declaring that “the highest standard for males is the only standard to follow”, was a rare moment of truth in a world addicted to lies.
For the past decade, the military has bent to political correctness by watering down tests to make sure nobody fails. But bullets don’t care about equity, enemies don’t slow down, so you can catch your breath as war is the ultimate meritocracy.
Only the prepared, only the excellent survive.
So when the Secretary said the male standard is the standard, he wasn’t being sexist, he was being real.
The battlefield doesn’t care about your feelings, identity, or excuses; it only cares whether you can carry the load, climb the wall, and finish the fight.
That’s the way life works, too.
Excellence Is The Only True Equalizer
What people refuse to accept is that Excellence is the fairest system there is.
The standard doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, black or white, male or female…
It doesn’t care if you’re privileged or disadvantaged; the bar is the bar, and you either rise to it or you don’t.
That’s the truth.
That’s true justice.
That’s total fairness.
When you chase equality of outcome, you water down greatness, but when you demand excellence from yourself and those you allow into your inner circle, you create real winners, and even the ones who fall short become stronger.
If you’re a man who is looking to find your inner circle, check out the Fraternity of Excellence, a place where the bar is high, and we help men help themselves reach it.

Beyond the Military, This Is About Life
This isn’t just about service members; it’s about everything:
Businesses should hire killers who deliver, not quota-fillers.
Culture should stop worshiping weakness. Start honoring winners again.
Parents should raise kids who crave challenge, not participation ribbons.
Every time you lower the bar, you betray the people you think you’re helping because deep down, people want to be pushed.
They want to know they earned it, and they want to know they had to bleed a little for the victory, as that’s where confidence comes from and meaning is born.
So now, it’s time to pick your side
This truth will divide people, and that’s the point.
Some will hate it, calling it elitist, unfair, or “toxic”, while others will feel it in their bones and know it’s the wake-up call they’ve been waiting for.
The only question you’re left with is whether or not you’ll rise to meet the standard of excellence out there, or spend the rest of your life resenting those who do.
