Money Is the Root of All Good: Provide. Protect. Prosper.
If you’re not making money, you’re making excuses, and your family pays the price.
Let me be blunt: Broken men are often those who are financially unstable and unable to lead their families.
Your personal issues, childhood traumas, and poor life choices are repeated ad nauseam, and those who suffer most are the ones who need your resources to enjoy the comfort that comes without the stress of lacking funds.
And no, before you start preparing your argument against materialism, I’m not talking about having yachts, Rolexes, or flexing for Instagram…
I’m talking about having enough damn money to carry your weight as a man, to remove the stress from your wife’s shoulders, to feed and clothe your children without anxiety, and to build a future where your kids don’t have to recover from your financial failures.
The lie we’ve been sold is that “money is the root of all evil.”
That phrase?
Twisted.
The actual quote is, “The love of money is the root of all evil.” However, the truth is that when money is earned through honest work, driven by purpose, and used to take care of your people, it becomes the foundation of all good.
Money is how you buy back your time.
Money is how you insulate your children from chaos.
Money is how you give your wife the safety to breathe again.
Money is how you say “yes” to the experiences that build your family’s story.
So let me ask you:
What the hell are you doing with your money right now?
You’re Either a Burden or a Blessing
If your wife is up at night wondering if the bills will get paid, if your kids are scared to ask for something they need, if your family is living in constant financial tension, that’s on you.
Call me “old school”, but I believe that as a man, you’re supposed to be the thermostat, not the thermometer; you set the temperature, provide the stability, and you lead.
If you’re coasting, if you’re comfortable blaming society for your financial status, which has you “just getting by” let me wake you up: Your family deserves better.
And if you’re not going to give it to them, who the hell will?
Money Is a Moral Obligation
Providing for your family isn’t a flex, it’s a moral responsibility.
It’s not optional:
You want to be a good husband and a good father, then stop outsourcing financial leadership to your wife and step up.
You expect her to care for the kids, keep the house clean, cook the food, and do the shopping, yet somehow she has to be the one who also provides for it all? If that’s the case, what role do you play in your family?
And I don’t care if you work at Walmart or own your own business, you need to get hungry.
Go out and learn new skills, take extra shifts, start a side hustle, and remove your vices so you aren’t spending money on the continued downward spiral.
Cancel Netflix if you have to, do whatever needs to be done.
I was a full-time influencer making 100% of my income online, and then I pulled back because I didn’t enjoy being a part of that world where I was “always on”; income dropped, and I realized it was time to make a move before my family crashed on the financial rocks.
I became a landscaper, literally going from typing and talking for a living to carrying chainsaws in backwoods North Carolina with rope over my shoulders and a winch strapped to my back...
I loved it.
I did whatever it took, and I still am willing to do whatever it takes because I love money and what it does for me. I love being able to buy my son a new bat, or my daughter new cheer equipment; I love it when my wife doesn’t have to worry about how much is left in the account after bills.
All of that is a product of me finding a way to make money.
The part you don’t want to hear is that the world doesn’t care about your excuses, but your kids will live with the consequences. No one is holding you back but you, so find a way to grow your stack and stop the bleeding of your funds.
Stop looking for another excuse, and start looking for a solution.
