Like most, my thoughts have been on what I’ve done this year, what’s left to do, and the always wonderful act of planning out my goals for next year.
If your mindset is similar, then it’s time to turn your ideas into actions.
To actualize the potential 2023 offers, you must put controls in place to keep yourself accountable and focused on the task ahead. The last thing you need is another year where you’re sitting there in November/December, wondering what you did and where the time went.
2022 will die in less than a month, and 2023 will either be the year you hit your goals, or it will be another 365 days of redundancy without progress.
The choice is yours…
Another Opportunity to OWN A YEAR
This December has presented you with another opportunity to prepare for the coming calendar year, one which you have a chance at fucking dominating.
This month you should be writing down your goals, purchasing the tools needed to get yourself in motion, and investing in coaching, accountability, or software to be used to track and enforce adherence to the habits you’ve set for yourself.
You’ll want to do this now to get all of the kinks, “false starts”, and questions out of your system.
Doing this before the 1st of January will remove the excuse of “Since I fucked up it doesn’t matter”, and you will quit before March. Get it out of the system in December and come January, you will be moving and grooving. This is the month to test, try new things, and start gaining some momentum toward your 2023 target goal.
I don’t want you going through another year wishing you’d done more or wondering where your time, money, and achievements went.
Maybe it’s the pressure I place on myself, but I always have this driving fire inside to look at where I am and figure out how to improve. This December, you need to slow down your mind, think about what you really want, then come up with a game plan for how you will achieve it.
Failing to do so will have you, a year older and closer to death, planning on making 2024 “your year”; You need to win at some point, and I believe that 2023 is the year you will do it.
Make me look good by making it happen.

New Year: New You or Same Shit?
Im looking to make 2023 my best year ever. In order to do that I need to plan and execute.
For the first time in a few years, I have started a planning/goal setting process to drive the my next few years. The first part of this process is to determine my aspirational (long-term) vision and then a 36 month vision. These will help build my goals for my upcoming blocks of work.
