In 1950, parenting was a simpler task than it is today.
The world was a different place, and parents had less to worry about (not necessarily less worry) when it came to raising their children. Fast forward to the present day, parenting has become a much more complicated undertaking due to “life after the internet”. With the rapid advancement of technology, the ever-changing social landscape, and the emergence of prioritization and the increased recognition of mental health issues, parents face challenges that their 1950s counterparts never dreamed of.
For parents to effectively raise their children in the modern age, they must understand their children's unique challenges and develop strategies to address them. Parents must understand that what worked in the past may not be the most effective approach for their children today.
