On July 13th, 2024, a successful assassination took place at a Trump rally.
To assassinate is “to murder (an important person) in a surprise attack for political or religious reasons”.
We know that Donald Trump was the intended target of Thomas Crooks; what we’re left to deal with is the fact that Crooks wanted to destroy what Donald Trump embodied; that’s what was meant to be killed. Corey Comperatore also embodied that message, and he is dead; the shooter didn’t miss; he hit his target, he killed someone who stood for challenging the establishment and placing America first.
As for the “importance” of the person killed, Corey was important, as he was exactly what makes America great; he was a great American.
This message was shared by his daughter:
Yesterday time stopped. And when it started again my family and I started living a real-life nightmare.
What was supposed to be an exciting day that we had all looked forward to (ESPECIALLY my dad), turned into the most traumatizing experiences someone could imagine.
I know the media will cover this event. And I'm going to try my best to stay away from looking at everything, especially because I've already seen and lived through it in real time. But I want everyone to know what the media will not cover, and will not say about him.
He was the best dad a girl could ever ask for. My sister and I never needed for anything. You call, he would answer, and he would do whatever it is you needed, and if he didn't know how he would figure out how. He could talk and make friends with anyone, which he was doing all day yesterday and loved every minute of it. He was a man of God, loved Jesus fiercely, and also looked after our church and our members as family.
The media will not tell you that he died a real-life superhero. They are not going to tell you how quickly he threw my mom and I to the ground. They are not going to tell you that he shielded my body from the bullet that came at us.
He loved his family. He truly loved us enough to take a real bullet for us. And I want nothing more than to cry on him and tell him thank you. I want nothing more than to wake up and for this to not be reality for me and my family.
We lost a selfless, loving, husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. And I will never stop thinking about him and mourning over him until the day that I die too. July 13th will forever be a day the changed my life. I will never be the same person I was less than 24 hours ago.
There are a lot of children out there that say their dad is their hero, but my dad really is mine. I don't think I would be here today without him.
Dad, I love you so much that there aren't enough words to express how deep that love goes. I know you'll give heaven some hell. I know that God is proud of the man that came to His gates yesterday
The History Books Are Watching
Corey was murdered, and it was in one of the most public fashions as one can lose their life; his name will be forever etched in history alongside the photo of Donald Trump rising from the attempt on his life, calling for his fellow Americans to continue their fight for this country.
As we process what has happened, what it means, and where we go from here, remember that the history books are watching us.
What we do now will have to be explained later.
Future generations will either ask, “Why didn’t you rally together to overcome this event?” or they will ask, “Where did you find the strength to continue pushing back against a force that had shown it was willing to go to the greatest of lengths to snuff out your movement?”; I’d much rather sit there and answer the latter.
We are on a razor’s edge, in a position where we can unify and show out in full force what the MAGA movement means, which goes far beyond Trump; this is about American nationalism, where men and women of every race, creed, and background are united under one banner. Donald Trump is the man who started the movement, but it is more than a man; it is now a mindset that we are America first by putting Americans first.
We are fighting to keep our country from falling into complete disarray and tyranny; we are going to remember men like Corey and many others who have died for this cause, not by breaking down, but by letting their light shine through our actions towards defending Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for generations to come.
The title of “Greatest Generation” doesn’t belong to those who fought in WWII; it belongs to the generation that defends the flame of freedom in the present day.
We are that generation, and we must hold the line and keep that fire alive.

We Are Left with a Choice
Your anger at Corey’s murder and the attempt on Trump’s life is justified, but burning it all to the ground will not save our home; it will leave everyone without shelter, making us vulnerable to the wild animals outside.
America is in a fragile place, and we don’t need to be attacking our fellow Americans to “get even” over what has occurred during this election cycle, especially as revenge for J13.
While we may feel the need to meet fire with fire, I ask that you remember we are all Americans, and many outside of this country would love for nothing more than to see this country implode because, as Tim Kennedy said, “Only America can destroy America”.
We must unite.
We must show our unity in the greatest fashion.
We must refuse to silence our voices in the face of any anti-American rhetoric.
We don’t have to fight with fists and firearms because we will lose that battle as this war is greater than the physical realm.
We must fight with our hearts, minds, and souls because that is where the American spirit exists, and that is what we must defend. It’s easier to seek retribution upon specific individuals than to fully commit yourself to living your most free, strong, and committed to excellence in life, yet that is being asked of you.
One of ours was assassinated, and we now have the choice to continue down the path of destruction and back-and-forth volleys, or we can seek to crush the evil that runs rampant by uniting as a people for the greater good of these United States. We must say, “Enough!” and stop playing games at every level, which reduces the strength of this nation by weakening the citizens within.
Left, Right, or Center makes no difference, as America is about equality, respect, and understanding. Raising the standard of American unity is the only way we can come out of this experiment our country is intact.
United, we will stand.
Divided, we will fall.
The choice is yours…
